Dr Buttar provides an overview of the challenges in the pharmaceutical industry and the journey in obtaining a successful multi-million pound Clinical Research Company.

ClinTec International, Founder & CEO, Dr Rabinder Buttar joins a private dinner hosted by Pr Jim McDonald, Principal & Vice Principal at Strathclyde and guests including Sir Tom Hunter, Pr Sir Chris Evans, Dr Azeem Abrahim following the lecture of Professor Sir Christopher Evans on the New Enlightenment at Strathclyde .

ClinTec International, Global CRO, Founder & CEO Dr Rabinder Buttar reports 429% growth over the period of 5 years between 2005 and 2011 published in ELEVATE magazine which includes the part of the top companies to achieve the prestigious 500 Club. Elevate magazine is published by GRANT Thornton one of the world's leading organisations of independent assurance, tax and advisory firms.

ClinTec International, Founder & CEO, Dr Rabinder Buttar was part of an eminent expert panel following the report published by the Royal Society of Edinburgh "Tapping all our Talent - Women in STEM" alongside Pr Dame Jocelyn Ball Burnell, Pr of Astrophysics, University of Oxford and Pr Lesley Yellowlees Vice Principal and Head of College of Science and Engineering, University of Edinburgh. The report provides a recommendation to create a strategy to increase the proportion of women in the workplace and to increase the number of women to senior positions.

Dr Rabinder Buttar and ClinTec's Associate Director - Regulatory Affairs & Operations (Middle East & North Africa) Rani Abraham were guest speakers at the joint 'Oncology Clinical Trials in Emerging Regions' and 'Cardiovascular Clinical Trials in Emerging Countries' conference held in London, UK.

Dr Rabinder Buttar attended an evening reception at 10 Downing Street at the invitation of the Prime Minister.  The reception was held to celebrate the Sikh holiday Vaisakhi and Dr Buttar was invited due to her success at being named 'Sikh Businesswoman of the Year' at the 2010 Sikh Awards.

The Future Entrepreneurs Network held 'An Evening with Dr Buttar' at the George Hotel in Edinburgh where Dr Buttar told the story of how she expanded ClinTec International from a home based Clinical Research Organisation to the multi million pound organisation based in over 40 countries it is today.

Dr Rabinder Buttar addresssed many of Scotland's influencial CEOs and Government officials at SCDIs annual Re:Wiring Scotland Economic Summit. Dr Buttar joined Dr Russell Greig, President of Investment Agency SR One Ltd in discussing potential of knowledge, innovation and skills to inspire others.

During the Institute of Directors (IOD) 'Women in the Boardroom' event held in Edinburgh, Dr Buttar gave an inspiring speech on 'Being at the Top' and spoke about her personal experiences of business challenges while building her global organisation.

Dr Buttar attended the Entrepreneurial Exchange, "Building the Top Team" Focus Dinner in Edinburgh as a key speaker. The other key speaker announced was Jim McColl OBE of Clyde Blowers and Khaled Shahbo of Enterprise Rent-A-Car chaired the event.
